For our second family fun weekend in August we decided it might be a good idea to try the Tacoma Children's Museum. So we packed all the kids up in the car and headed that way. We got there thinking we had to pay a certain amount and we didn't have to pay, I still have a military ID, So we got in free as a military family ( retired). It certainly wasn't what we expected, we thought there would be more exhibits, it was more like a play area for kids. It was kind of boring for us. But the kids loved it. Though I have to say I really loved the arts and craft room. Loved how they had it sat up. Kinda wish I could do that with our garage, never know I may be able to at some point. Anyways it was amazing to see the kids scatter and see which area they each were drawn too. They had fun and it was a place with free arts and crafts and I didn't have to worry about the mess on my carpet. Tons of free stuff for the kids to play with and white boards to paint on. Really good for kids like ours..
